What’s a flexi creature, anyway?
A “flexi” is a 3D-printed creature with articulated joints — it’s printed in one piece, no assembly, yet every segment moves. Pick it up and it wiggles, and curls like a tiny toy that came to life. That same floppy, tactile quality is also why flexis have found a second life as fidget-friendly sensory toys, popular with folks who benefit from something satisfying to move and manipulate in their hands. Ours are designed right in your browser with Cute Flexi Maker, then printed fresh to order on our Bambu printer with real multi-color filament.
The best part: You design it. Here’s how.
Step 1: Open the builder
Head to our design builder (or tap “Start Designing” in the menu). The Cute Flexi Maker tool loads right on the page — no account, no software, nothing to download. You’ll see a 3D preview of your creature that updates live as you make choices.
Step 2: Pick your creature
Start by choosing your animal. There are 13+ species to build from — cats, dragons, and plenty more — each a starting point you’ll make your own. Spin the 3D view around with your mouse or finger to see it from every angle.
Step 3: Customize the details
This is where it becomes yours. Work through the options on the right. Mix and match different animal parts:
Parts Tab:
Head: choose a head type, then eyes, ears, horns, and little details
Accessories & hats: add the finishing touches that give your creature personality
Body: adjust segments to make your flexi longer (more wiggle!)
Colors: this is the fun part — our printer supports multiple colors per print, so go bold. Mix and match until it’s exactly right.

Features Tab:
Text Generation: Generate a name, acronymn, school name, etc. (Each letter creates an additional segment)
Spiral Poses: have your creature printed in a spiral pose
Keychains/Magnets (medium only): chose whether you want a keyring, magnet(s), or both!
Every change shows instantly in the preview, so you always know what you’re going to get.
Step 4: Create your order
Happy with your design? Click “Create Order” in the builder. You’ll get an Order ID — write it down or copy it. This is the unique code for your specific design.
Step 5: Choose size and check out
Scroll down to the order section on the same page:
1. Paste in your Order ID – from the order creation window
2. Pick your size — Small, Medium, or Large
3. Add any extras — extra segments, a keychain, magnets, or custom text
4. Watch the running total update, then Add to cart, open you Cart 
and Check out.
That’s it! We’ll print your creature fresh, run it through quality control, and ship it your way.
Tips for a great flexi
Go colorful. Multi-color designs are what make flexis pop — don’t be shy. Choose up to 8 colors. Expanded pallet coming soon.
Longer = more fun. Extra segments mean more wiggle and a bigger presence.
Think gifts. A custom flexi with someone’s favorite colors makes a memorable, one-of-a-kind present.
